Coated tablets – oral route
MEGAFLEX is a powerful muscle relaxant with double
action relaxant: central and peripheral.
MEGAFLEX is indicated for the treatment of muscle
contractions, such as:
* Painful muscle contractioss in rheumatology (in
combination with specific treatments)
* Vertebral degenerative disorders
* Vertebral disturbances such as torticolis, back pain, lumbago.
* Traumatic lesions
* Neurological spastic conditions
* Reabilitation or muscular functional reeducation.
How to take MEGAFLEX
MEGAFLEX is reserved to adults
The usual dosage is 1 tablet at bedtime swallod with
a glass of water
If necesary, increase the dosis in progressive way,
from half a tablet until 2 tablets twice a day.
In mild cases, sensible patients, elderly or patients
with renal or hepatic impairment mild to moderate,
the dosage must be half a tablet at bedtime.
Hospitalized patients or in bed
To start with half a tablet at bedtime. The dosage
can be increased gradually each day until 150 mg by
day divided in two intakes (one tablet at morning and
two at bedtime) or three times a day.
Pregnacy and Lactation
It is not advisable the use of this product during
pregnacy and lactation
Effects on driving or operate machinery
Caution because it can cause sleepiness.
Do no use this products with other sedative products.
Contraindications
* Hypersensitivity to
any component of the product
* Severe respiratory insufficiency
* Sleep apnea syndrome
* Severe hepatic insufficiency, acute or chronic (risk of encephalopathy)
* Myastenia
* Congenital galactosemia, poor absorption syndrome of glucose and galactose
or lactasa deficit
